The National Association of Vision Care Plans (NAVCP) is the unified voice for the managed vision care industry. Our members cover approximately 53 percent (170 million) of all Americans by partnering with eye care providers in all 50 states and Puerto Rico.

We know that that patient-centered vision care is essential healthcare. And we know that vision benefits drive healthier behavior. That is why NAVCP provides a forum for cooperative industry collaboration on initiatives that:

  • Promote the valuable role managed vision care plans play in enabling consumer access to affordable, quality vision care and driving overall health in the U.S.
  • Advocate for public policies and regulations that preserve and strengthen consumer access to affordable vision insurance and benefits, and help ensure price transparency for patients and employers that provide benefits.
  • Simplify healthcare administration.
  • Foster patient-centered cooperation between plans and eye care professionals.

NAVCP offers two membership categories:

Primary Membership 
Primary Membership is open to companies who market, manage or administer vision care benefits. Primary Members are voting members of the association and have representation on the NAVCP Board of Directors.

Allied Membership
Allied Membership is open to any company or party with an interest in the vision care industry. Allied Members are non-voting members. However, Allied Members are represented on the NAVCP Board of Directors based on their level of participation.
